The Heinsberg district police authority has welcomed 37 new colleagues to its ranks. District Administrator Stephan Pusch and Stefan Kryschik, Head of the Traffic Directorate, warmly welcomed the new colleagues at a ceremony.
"With your support, you are making an important contribution to ensuring that people in the Heinsberg district can feel safe. I am very pleased to welcome you all here," said District Administrator Pusch in his speech.
As an area authority with a border of around 77 kilometers to Belgium and the Netherlands, the district police authority performs a wide range of tasks. In future, the new colleagues will be deployed in different directorates - always with the common goal of making the district of Heinsberg even safer.
Stefan Kryschik made it clear how important mutual support is in everyday police work: "You have chosen a responsible and also dangerous profession. That's why I hope you return home safe and sound after every shift."
We look forward to working with you and say: Welcome!
