(jd) At around 21.44 yesterday (16.09.), a man around 160-170cm tall entered a petrol station on Herforder Straße. He suddenly went to the cash counter and demanded that the petrol station employee hand over the cash from the till at gunpoint. After the employee opened the till, the man, who had pulled a black and white patterned scarf over his face, took various bills. He fled on foot with cash in the low three-digit range along Herforder Straße in the direction of Bahnhofstraße. The police officers who were called to the scene immediately launched a manhunt, but the search was unsuccessful. The unidentified man is about 20 years old, had black, shaved hair and was wearing black shoes, blue jeans and a black and white patterned jacket.
